Favorite Husker Memory:
At college, a student season pass that cost $25.00 for 6 home games. Pregame breakfasts, then walking to the stadium from the BEY house. Sneaking rum into the game in a 'Bota-bag', then mixing it with coke. Sitting in the card section and spelling out 'SCREW MIZZOU' on ABC TV. Tearing down the goal posts & taking them downtown to PO Pears and the Waterhole in 1978 after beating Oklahoma. Throwing oranges onto the field and nearly hitting Barry Switzer.
Town I Currently Live In (City, State):
Flagstaff, Arizona
What Position did Turner Gill play:
I moved to AZ in 1985 & had to travel 60 miles south of Flagstaff in order to recieve Phoenix AM radio station broadcast of games. And I subscribed to the Omaha World Herald (sunday edition) that arrived on Thursday after the game. Now with modern technology, there is a group of Husker Alumni that get together and host games on TV @ home.
