Aleks Maric had his final home game as a senior yesterday. The Huskers played the Colorado buffaloes and handily beat them. Maric had a great last game - he had 17 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists, and 0 turnovers. He also was 1-3 on 3 pointers. I watched the game, and when he made his first 3 pointer, the crowd went absolutely nuts! Great job Aleks!
FYI, Sunday's victory was Nebraska's most Big 12 lopsided victory all season.
The Huskers are now set to take on Missouri this Thursday night for the first round of the big 12 tournament. How do you think Nebraska will do in the tournament? Will we beat Missouri?
I think we'll definitely beat the Tigers, and possibly make it to the championship game (I'm thinking positive here). Anybody else?

I really hope we do well in the tournament. We beat, or came close to beating, a lot of ranked teams this year so we have the potential to go a long way. If we can get a couple of quality wins the NIT is still possible if not the NCAA tournament.
