Just to give another quick Wacky update. I went and saw him tonight and  he is awake and trying to get better. It will be a long haul but it was good to see him awake and taking. he wants to thank everybody for the thoughts and prayers. Keep them coming while he gets better. Update on Wacky---  Wacky is improving everyday, his kidneys are beginning to work a lot better and the need for dialysis won't be necessary if his blood tests continue to be good.  They have managed to get him off the ventilator but he continues to need oxygen to keep his blood oxygen levels up.  This also will improve as he gets stronger and becomes more active on his own,  He is doing great and is in good spirits and anxious to be home.

Update on wacky Wacky is doing so much better. The right antibiotics have started to kick in and his lungs are starting to clear up a little bit each day. His breathing is improving and he is no longer in critical care. He is now one step down from critical care which has 1 nurse for 2 patients. The step down care has 1 nurse for 3 patients. His goals for the coming days are to continue weaning off the ventilator and trying to breathe for small periods of time on his own. Today was the first… Continue
