I see this as a must win for Nebraska and a game where Northwestern has so little to lose and so much to gain. Nebraska is a better team and playing at home. However Northwestern will be prepared and I am sure will be fired up and so excited to play. A tough one to call.

I agree with Trashman, this should be a get better game for the Huskers. After the start of this year HCSF will not trust special teams, look for 4 down try's if they are anywhere near the 50 yard line.

Tony beat me on doing this thread so just remember attendance if you see this. I’ll keep it short. No reason thus shouldn’t be a fairly easy victory over a poor team. Our defense should shut down Hilinski and co with ease. How about a clean special teams game?

10 years ago the Huskers were ranked #9 in the Country and we were coached by a "Defensive Genius" when we played Northwestern. Nebraska lost that game 28-25. So, what does that mean? It means nothing! Well, Nebraska isn't very good and they tend to play poorly when the heat is on. Therefore, I am taking Northwestern 31-24 over Nebraska. The Huskers could pull an upset, but Northwestern would have to implode and I think they are too well coached for that to happen. We will know by 10PM Saturday Night..
