  • Let's also not forget that the 2012 Huskers have already gotten more gifts than Santa Claus will bring most families for Christmas.

    • Agree, Mike.

    • I agree. Beck gives up on the running game way to early even when it is working.
  • Georgia has the most physical defense that we will have played all year. They are fast, big and nasty and that does not bode well for undersized Huskers.
  • There has never been a decent Bleacher Report article re the Huskers posted here so why bother to read this one?

    UGA 37 or more
    UNL 23 or less

We'll be lucky to keep it under 14 points.

You guys watched the Wisconsin, UCLA and OSU games, right?

UGA is a MUCH BETTER TEAM than any we have played in 2012.

  • Coopster you are entitled to your opinion, even if its wrong

    • Only time and playing the actual game will tell..
  • We stand no chance of beating Georgia. They are too fast, too big, too sharp and better coached for our undersized slow team. I will stand by my prediction. If the Huskers play lights out, completely at their best, make no mistakes and play penalty free ball they will still lose by 21.
    • Coop...maybe by only 14 to 17.

  • I have no issues with our offense.  In fact, I believe we'll be able to score some points.  It's the defense that is the concern.  Georgia will see the same things Wisconsin saw on game film, the lack of speed, poor tackling, and reaction time.  Two of those things can be improved before kick-off.  The speed issue cannot be taught.

Also, Alabama has by far the best offensive line in college football and Georgia Tech and Georgia Southern are triple option teams that run the ball all of the time, so they should be expected to gain some yards on the ground.

We'll see what happens, but one thing is certain.  Georgia is far better than Wisconsin, Ohio State, and UCLA.
