Purdue vs NU Prediction Thread!!!

Nono wins again after being the ONLY person to correctly pick MN to manhandle the Huskers. Sigh.

DON'T FORGET YOUR ATTENDANCE PREDICTION THIS WEEK!!! Lots more tickets available through the marketplaces I'm seeing this week.....double sigh.

Results thus far:

Nono-3, TomOs-2, Trash-1, Crawford-1, Nish-1. Attendance: LCH-3 (by default on the last Lol), TomOs-1

I'm still dialing in this one....obviously the Prophet's dial is off so far!

I saw I/H had 31-17 NU. So we'll add him into this.

  • Statistically, these close games Frost continues to lose is truly odds defying logic. We shall see where this Purdue spread finishes, but it’s shaping up to be another one score type game scenario. He is 5-17 in these games. Some data:

A team favored by .5 to 3 wins 53-55% of the time.

3.5 to 7 is 62 to 70% of the time.

This 7.5 spread is a 73% chance of a win….but 49% of a cover. I guess these are the data points that eventually should bear some truth?

Predicting this team has proved to be pretty difficult. We now have the “2 weeks of rest and refocus” stance to rely on. A loss here and I think Frost is on VERY shaky ground probably needing to win 2 of 3 in the worst part of the schedule. Sheesh.

Going to be the last likely beautiful forecast this Mickey Mouse offense gets to enjoy!

    Purdue 23  NU 30

Although I’ve seen a LOT of tickets on sale this week, this nice weather should still get the last hopefuls out and about. We’ll say….

  • I will bite,  88268 fans.

  • Forgot attendance 8901

  • I have no idea anymore, I will watch because it's televised. First one to 28 wins...attendance will be down, 86500...

  • Purdue destroys Iowa and then loses the next week.  This is typical BIG 10 play unless you are Nebraska.  This past summer I picked Nebraska to win three games this year.  Buffalo, Fordham and either Northwestern or Purdue.  Since we beat Northwestern already you can see where this is going.  So the only question is, how many Nebraska loses by?  Nebraska is no where close to Iowa and so I believe it will be NU 20 and Purdue 38.

  • Don't see a lot of separation between these two teams.. Purdue has a bigger win.. like to say NU...but
