So NU sits at 2-2 with everything going pretty as planned....besides IL of course. Now they have a 2 game stretch where most thought both were pretty gettable before the season started. Now MSU is 3-0 ranked 20th in Mel Tucker's 2nd season. Ouch. The wins over NW and YSU aren't overly impressive but the win @Miami is better than anything NU has done to this point.
A win in the Woodshed won't be easy. It appears Frost is sorta trying to be more ground and pound? More TOP with a solid defense is the correct path. But can the OL move anyone? Walker from MSU will be getting a lot of totes. He already has 500yds and 5TDs with over an 8yd average. Where's our RB that can handle that?
Going to be a wild crowd on long grass in a tough environment. MSU is honoring Foltz and Sadler at halftime so that is pretty cool. Unfortunately I feel this will be another "moral victory" in a losing effort.

No win this week either. We have no running game so to speak (3 yards a down is good), the kicker apparently gets plenty of reps at practice and must make them all, but during games, he has a bad case of the yips. I think MSU is better than OU was last Saturday and we will probably score 17 points and MSU will score 31.
I see no reason why the Huskers can't win this game. I also see no reason why they can! Hard fought, sometimes boring game until the last 3 minutes.
