    Not going to take the time to name individual players.  Probably the 11 starters plus 3-4 more. Well see rotation at D-line LBers and probably DBs

    This is a tough question for me because I have only been keeping up on practices via podcasts and newspaper websites.

    I am a believer the Blackshirts need to be the starting 11 on the defense. I recall in past years a punter/kicker did get one, but that has only been in the recent years, it never happened under Osborne (even though you could say Erstad deserved one in the 90s). So, here's my gut thought on the 11 guys that deserve the coveted prize.

    DL: Stoltenberg, Akinmoladun, C. Davis
    LB: Newby, Gifford, Roberts, Young
    DB: Kalu, Lee, Jackson, Williams.

    I want to put out a caveat, as much as Chris Jones deserves one, he is on the shelf and I rather they not rush him back from his injury.
