Husker Womens Volleyball Season Ends Early With much sadness (and hype) this year, the Husker women's volleyball season ended much too early this year. As far as I was concerned, I had the Huskers at least playing in the national championship, and probably winning. Cal had different ideas about this on Saturday. The Cal women's volleyball team swept the Huskers in three games: 30-28, 31-29, 30-26. You can read more about this devastating loss here. Nonetheless, the husker volleyball girls have one of the most talented volleyball teams in the NCAA. They just weren't able to prove it on the court this past Saturday. Go Huskers-

    Hated to see them go down, but they can be proud of their run of tournament appearances. I feel bad for the seniors, but there is hope for next year with a bunch of returning players who have really stepped up when needed.
