1983 Nebraska Cornhuskers / Scoring Explosion offense
Nicknamed the scoring explosion, Nebraska's offense had what Oklahoma coach Barry Switzer named "the big 3". QB Turner Gill, Heisman Trophy winner Mike Rozier at RB, and NFL great Irving Fryar at WR. The offense averaged 52 points a game during the regular season and was 1 point short of a national title in a heartbreaker against Miami. This clip includes some footage from the 82' season as well. The cornhuskers football team was sure great back then....
