T.O. Not a cure all for this years team.

Strong teams have a strong defense first. Perhaps this defense is on the right track now that the players have turned in their blackshirts. It must have hurt to turn those back in. It shows they have an understanding of the tradition, the blackshirts dictated. To me it says this group of men are on the right track to improving. To earning their blackshirts back. Will it happen this year, there is not much time left, but I think the talent is there. The only question I have is the desire there.

You know that there are past players that would jump at the chance to pass on what they know. Give these guys another year to learn and practice, I think they are going to do great things!

I think that there are many areas on this year's team that need improvement (no big surprise) and the defense turning in their blackshirts is a great sign that they know that their not keeping up the tradition.
