Hey ya'll, I'm bored right now....thinking about the
Huskers and how the season is almost over. I came across this site
here - I did a little survey and then I'm entered in a contest to win lunches or some lunch money. Thought I'd share it with some hungry
Husker fans!

I was watching the news last night and they reported that
Husker fans are on a steep decline, concerning
traveling to away games. They said that they are seeing about 10% of the normal husker fan business than they are used to. For instance, they usually can fill up 7 to 8 buses when traveling to away games, like the Texas game this Saturday.
Guess how many they are filling this year?
ONE. Executive travel said that they have only had
15 people sign up…

I only got to listen to a little bit of the Husker game on the radio today, but it seemed like the team played with a more desire than they had been playing with. Even though we lost, I think they showed a little improvement. What does anybody else think?
I thought we'd keep the game a little closer too, we were favorites by 2 points. So much for that...

Huskers have to win tomorrow! I don't want every game to be a gut check game, where we are in this position - a MUST win situation.
I want us to win handily tomorrow so all of the media can just shut up for once. It seems like nobody is scared of the Huskers anymore and this has to change. It's going to start with the fans supporting the coaches and players, the coaches doing a better job, and the players giving it their all on the football field. I can't wait for tomorrow. GBR

Bo Pelini is apparently in the running for the Texas A&M coaching job. A&M is supposedly going to can Dennis Franchione because he has a $1200 monthly newsletter that gives superfans "inside" information about the A&M football team. He says this fee is to help finance his personal website.
You can read the article about Franchione
here.

I fell like part of the
Husker Nation is somewhat is a "husker depression" since our loss to USC last Saturday. I'm not taking it that bad. They were number 1, right? So we lost to an obviously superior football team. I'm sure the rest of the USC opponents with share a similar fate. Ball State is only two days away, and I think the
husker football team needs to think about
that and leave all the USC media hype in it's rearview mirror.
