Just to give another quick Wacky update. I went and saw him tonight and he is awake and trying to get better. It will be a long haul but it was good to see him awake and taking. he wants to thank everybody for the thoughts and prayers. Keep them coming while he gets better. Update on Wacky--- Wacky is improving everyday, his kidneys are beginning to work a lot better and the need for dialysis won't be necessary if his blood tests continue to be good. They have managed to get him off the ventilator but he continues to need oxygen to keep his blood oxygen levels up. This also will improve as he gets stronger and becomes more active on his own, He is doing great and is in good spirits and anxious to be home.

update on Wacky We had great hopes that Wacky would be awake and talking with us this week-end but those hopes were dashed on Friday Up to that point they had managed to get the support he needed from the ventilator down to a level of 8 and lower. 5 is normal
for a healthy person. They had turned off sedation and the pain medicine was being reduced. He had a terrible night on Wednesday and was not doing well on the lower levels of the ventilator. Some…

Update on Wacky Since the surgery on the 4th to re-connect the intestine, Dick has been intubated and completely sedated. His blood pressures have been erratic and he is still on dialysis. His lungs still show something going on and they did some testing today, but we do not have the results back yet. In talking with the Doctor today they said that over the last 24 hrs or so He has been the most stable since before he had the stent put in.
