that was a good win against a tough Georgia team. Tommy Armstrong is a way better quarterback than T. Mart. The Husker coaching staff did well this game. I still don't think Pelini can coach the Huskers back to the top. But nothing wrong with winning the Gator Bowl over UG. That 99 yard pass was awesome. T. Armstrong is an excellent QB, But the running game is not as dominate as it should be. Run the ball.

its time for NU to thank Bo Pelini for all his coaching efforts and wish him farewell. Nebraska needs a new coach.
for the first time in a long time I saw vintage Husker Football yesterday when Nebraska beat Illinois. The Huskers had a relentless rushing attack on offense that just wore down Illinois defense. The defense got more and more aggresive and intimidating as the game went on. Granted Illinois is not the best team in the NCAA, but finally a spark of vintage Husker ball.

pelini needs to take notes from stanford coach, see how stanford coach remains cool and calm during game doesn't yell at his players, and doesn't get frazzled thats how to coach. pelini gets to bent out of shape during games and its hurting Huskers performance.
Bring Frank Solich back!!!!!!!!
I commend pelini and his staff's efforts and for going out and playing better against Georgia than wisconsin. The Huskers played a decent game only to lose it in the end, because of dumb play calling by pelini and beck. That wildcat handoff that led to abdullah fumbling. Absolutely the dumbest play call and that change the momentum in georgia's favor. Then pelini and d coordinator get burned badly on that slip screen that went for a 70 yard td for georgia. I think Pelini needs to go hand him…Continue
Just to remember the good days of Husker football I have been watching old Husker games on video. My favorite is the Eric Crouch and Jamal Lord seasons. The Huskers were really fun to watch back then. I finally realize during the calahan era it was nice to see the Huskers put up 60 points and throw 80 yard touchdown passes, but thats not Husker Football. Pelini hasn't revived Husker football either. The Huskers went wrong when they fired Frank Solich. The Huskers need to find some former…Continue
I liked the huskers wiith frank solich as head coach, the huskers under calahan showed some good, but in the end calahan didn't accomplish a dog gone thing, calahan lost every big game the huskers had with him as head coach. Same thing with pelini he has improved the team some, but in the end pelini's coaching has not won any big games. Solich did not win every big game, but he did win a few. I just don't think pelini's coaching is working. I think the Huskers should have stuck with Frank…Continue
That loss to Wisconsin was terrible. Pelini is not getting the job done. I know Huskers fan didn't like Calahan, but Calahan's offense would be more competitive in todays college football. I like the Tim Beck offense its not bad, but when you have a quarterback who throws 2 interceptions and a fumble and a defense that can't make stops there is no way to win. The Huskers have not won a big game since 2001 when beating Oklahoma, its pathetic. The Huskers still are just mediocracy. I have lost…Continue
this win over the badgers is the first big game the Huskers have won in a long time. The Huskers have got to stop turning the ball over. I'm glad the Huskers were finally able to pull out a big win, because it has choke after choke in big games.

The huskers have to get a more potent on offense to be a legitimate top 25 contender. I like the Huskers going back to some option and running the ball, and still throwing the ball. Beck is a good offensive coordinator, I like seeing some old osbourne plays it was nice, but the huskers offense stalled out against S. Carolina, and Wisconsin, Michigan the refs kept the Huskers out of it , them jerks, but anyway the Huskers still have to be more potent on offense. It could start by getting rid…Continue
Not a bad season, terrible ending though to lose to south carolina. The problem that remains is the huskers offense just isn't good enough. its good against teams with a small or slow defense, but against a fast strong defense like south carolina it just didn't work. The Huskers offense is too simple, Carolina had the huskers offnese totally figured out by the 3rd quarter. the huskers need to get out of the pistol formation, that formation is no good. Also the option just isn't gonna do it.…Continue

The Huskers mistakes and the refs phony flags cost the Huskers this game, the huskers two fumbles on kickreturns totally unacceptible, in a big game like that you do not cough up the ball on a kickoff. But also I am so sick and tired of these jerk refs anticipating plays and throwing flags when there wasn't really a penalty.that pass interfernce call was bogus and so was that roughing the kicker call. The NCAA has to start teaching refs to not throw a flag if it is a borderline call, if the…Continue

The Huskers look tough, the defense is stellar, the offense is getting it done, way to go Big Red!!! However Nebraska needs to add a few more plays to the offensive playbook and play better defense over the middle in the secondary.
what hurt the Huskers is to many penalties, but on the same npte the refs are calling too many penalties and its not fair that teams can just throw the ball all game and get defensive pass interference called 80% of the time, the refs never call offensive pass interference.
deensive holding should not be an automatic first down. penalties and the refs throwing the flags all the time are ruining the game of football, I have turned off so many games this weekend cause all I see is…Continue

I understand now what Pelini is trying to do with the Huskers offense, he is trying to run an offense like urban Myer did with Tim Teebo. I like that idea, but there is 2 things pelini needs to realize, Taylor Martinez is not the right fit for a spread option offense and don't be one dementional.
