Yes, the loss to Wisconsin was incredibly bad; but the loss to GA i fear will be much worse. If we thought the score was bad with that offense Wisconsin had; the worst is yet to come on National TV. I've been a Nebraska fan all my life; and for the first time; I would rather we just forfeit the game with GA and start recruiting for next year. The players absolutely did not play against Wisconsin; but I fault the coaches at not preparing them. I haven't seen a loss this bad for Nebraska;…Continue
Just to remember the good days of Husker football I have been watching old Husker games on video. My favorite is the Eric Crouch and Jamal Lord seasons. The Huskers were really fun to watch back then. I finally realize during the calahan era it was nice to see the Huskers put up 60 points and throw 80 yard touchdown passes, but thats not Husker Football. Pelini hasn't revived Husker football either. The Huskers went wrong when they fired Frank Solich. The Huskers need to find some former…Continue
I liked the huskers wiith frank solich as head coach, the huskers under calahan showed some good, but in the end calahan didn't accomplish a dog gone thing, calahan lost every big game the huskers had with him as head coach. Same thing with pelini he has improved the team some, but in the end pelini's coaching has not won any big games. Solich did not win every big game, but he did win a few. I just don't think pelini's coaching is working. I think the Huskers should have stuck with Frank…Continue
That loss to Wisconsin was terrible. Pelini is not getting the job done. I know Huskers fan didn't like Calahan, but Calahan's offense would be more competitive in todays college football. I like the Tim Beck offense its not bad, but when you have a quarterback who throws 2 interceptions and a fumble and a defense that can't make stops there is no way to win. The Huskers have not won a big game since 2001 when beating Oklahoma, its pathetic. The Huskers still are just mediocracy. I have lost…Continue
Great Job by the Huskers in winning their division title in only their second year in the Big Ten. On to Indy and getting our second win of the year against Wisconsin. We have shown we can beat them, we just have to take better control of the ball and play more consistantly on offense. I'm really proud of this team as we have won some tough road games this year. The bad news is if we win the Big Ten title we will probably have to play Oregon. But what better way to end the season than…Continue
In only our second year in the Big Ten we are poised to win our first division title and possibly win the Big Ten Championship. Very good accomplishment for everyone concerned at NU. I am especially happy for Bo Pelini and Tom Osborne. What a great way for Dr. Tom to go out. He brought our program back from the depths after the Pederson/Callahan regime nightmare. I am so happy for Tom Osborne that he gets to go out the same way as an AD as he did as a head coach.

I would like to congratulate Dr. Tom Osborne for all that he has done for the University of Nebraska. He was an incredible coach, who not only had great teams, but turned young boys into outstanding men. I will wager that there were more accademic all americans while Dr. Tom was at Nebraska than any other coach in the land. He was the embodiment of what a leader of student-athletes should be. His many contributions to the university and state of Nebraska, and college athletics for that…Continue

Dear Fellow Husker fans,
By now we should know this drill ad yet each time it has happened, the shouting has gotten louder and longer. Seriously, has there been any time in your Husker fandom life where you feel your heart getting ripped to shreds and then somehow some way, the team pulls the game out again and again, in the same month/year? I have lived through some kick butt comebacks but I cannot remember a stretch like this.
You first have a game against …Continue

Dear Fellow Husker fans,
I have to be honest, the past two weeks I believe I have seen the Big Red play some of the most complete football since the Solich years. Seriously guys, after the Ohio St game how many of you looked at the remaining schedule and were in the doom and gloom? After hearing that Burkhead was day to day (then didn't even suit up vs Michigan) how many of you looked at November and thought, well at least there is still Turkey Day? I'll be honest, I was a…Continue

This weekend is a critical game against MSU on the road. If we can beat them at their place we will really have begun the process of establishing our presence in the Big Ten. Plus, it will go a long, long way in us winning our division and ultimately winning the Big Ten Title. Go Big Red!!!!!!!!!

Great win tonight over Michigan in Lincoln. Hope we can follow it up with a win against "Sparty" next week on the road. Go Big Red!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know about the rest of you 'Husker fans out there, but I think we have a great shot at winning the Big Ten Championship this year. If we take care of Michigan and Michigan State we will be well on our way. We just need to be more consistent. If we get to the title game we will undoubtedly play Wisconsin, and we have already proven that we can handle them. Go Big Red!!!
Dear Fellow fans of the Big Red,
I know it has been way too long and the funny thing is I planned to write this post during the bye week, alas, reality took hold and didn't let go until the day before the NU/NU game. I wont go into details of that, so without further delay, some thoughts of the past two games and other tidbits.
Vs Wisconsin: Can you believe that was the second biggest comeback in school history. This is getting to be a bit of a heart attack…Continue

this win over the badgers is the first big game the Huskers have won in a long time. The Huskers have got to stop turning the ball over. I'm glad the Huskers were finally able to pull out a big win, because it has choke after choke in big games.

Special thanks to Dr. Tom Osborne for taking the reins of AD at a time that was critical to NU. Thanks for stepping in and pointing the program in the right direction again. I truly hope you enjoy a well earned retirement. Go Big Red!!!
