Dear Fellow Husker Fans,
Another week and another win. I think at this point of time all would be thrilled if NU was 8-0 or 7-1 however if the realists in us came out would think 5-3 is a pretty good start to Year 1 of the Pelini Era. Yes, turnovers were there and the mental errors showed their ugly heads in the form of 6 penalties, but this team showed spunk and plenty of it.
I have heard tales well Nebraska only won by 12 against Baylor, but a win is a win. Robert… Continue

I sure hope so. I dont know if we had the type of win we needed over Baylor to do it but i hope a Miracle can happen next week. i couldnt believe how much we didnt capitalize on offense against Baylor...it was driving me crazy. The guys pulled it off though and are pumped for OU. OU is amazing this year and i have a lot of respect for them but they are beatable, especially when they see those bright red jerseys they dont like so much. GBR

Dear Fellow Husker fans
I sat sifting through the numbers and was even lucky enough to listen to part of the game via internet radio. I saw the final score and at that moment, at that point in the season I had a singular thought. This team had turned the corner. Yeah, I know people look at the turnovers and yes those are still a problem. But there are bigger and better numbers to take from this game.
4: As in four penalties for 45 yards against our beloved Big Red. One of… Continue

I found this out on another fan site, apparently making the rounds on the Net.
I believe in Tom, the AD Almighty,
the restorer of Pride and Respect
and in Bo Pelini, His prodigal coach:
Who was brought in by Frank Solich,
born of the 2003 defensive swagger,
suffered under Steve Pederson,
was looked over, fired, and moved on.
He descended into Oklahoma.
The third year with LSU, He won a National Championship.

Dear Fellow Husker fans,
It's like a Texas two step this year, one step forward, two steps backwards. After the Mizzou meltdown a couple weeks back I was just in shock. I couldn't believe that this team could lay that kind of egg. I didn't get to watch the game, but the stats told it all, boy it was ugly.
Now this past week, I feel overall the team may have played its best game. Yes, there was a blown coverage on 4th down. Defensively you have to be ready for the snap,… Continue

There were Tshirts for the Nebraska / VA Tech game. Does anyone know where I can get one?

I don't think we can keep pointing fingers at the coaching obviously our recruiting(Calahan's players) aren't getting the job done on either side of the ball at this point. They may have looked good against the first few teams granted the teams weren't as good. Players such as Marlon Lucky and Castille need to step up their game if their going to compete with big teams. Our defense is starting to look like last year a bit and that's just unacceptable. Shawn Watson is a also a cause for concern… Continue

Well, sadly the offense looked similar tonight vs. Missouri as they did the previous week against Virginia Tech.. Looking at the stats the thing that is surprising to me is that Ganz' #'s really are fairly decent, despite some more than questionable decisions. The depressing thing is that our O-line looks like they could get blown backwards by a 10mph breeze. Until they can get a stable running game going averaging at least 4.5 yard per carry, we are going to either struggle or get dominated by… Continue

I wonder what is going to start a fire with the blackshirts. If we are unable to even make the opposing teams quarterback break a sweat, then this may be the first year in the history of the ball club that we will not have a blackshirt team.

Dear Fellow Husker fans,
First off, I want to thank everyone for their effort during Operation Blackout. I know we were up against enormous odds but we tried and the only failures in life are the ones don't try. BTW, to the guy who is proposing the red out for Mizzou I am all for it. I wish I could give it a whirl, but that wont work at work. I guess will have to use the stand-by, my white Nebraska shirt under the uniform top.
Before I get into the game, I want to clue you… Continue
