Dear Fellow Husker fans,
We are getting closer guys, close enough where I am thinking of hitting this thing every Friday or Saturday morning until the season starts. After the season starts, I am not sure when I will do the blogging, but more than likely it will be Wednesday or Thursday (after I get a chance to look back at the previous game and look ahead to the next). I want to plug sporting news right here just because Todd Peterson is a guest writer for the season. His first post… Continue

My dear friends Russ & Joanie Swanson are giving up their tickets this year. Russ called to offer them to me & DUHH! I said OF COURSE! Their seats are on the 40 something yard line south, west side under the press boxes, third row. I can't believe we are going to be there again this season. Last year we were lucky enough to receive an offer to buy tickets in the south end zone because the owner was was going to sit in the handicap section. We enjoyed going, even with the Callahan fiasco… Continue

Dear Fellow Husker fans
Media day has come and gone for 2008 and I really honestly have a confession to make, I'm not a big fan of media day. There really isn't one big reason for it. I guess always looked upon media day as just another step towards the beginning of the season. That right there was the good point, the rest I could do without. Most of you should know the name and if not here's a refresher course. Crawford was a three sport star out of Texas that was torn between playing college football or taking his chance at a big league baseball career after being drafted in the second round of the 1999… Continue

Does anyone else think that we should bring back the triple option offense and dump the West Coast offense? Ganz is fast enough to run an option offense and he has the arm to pass when the option is not on. Is Bo gonna bring back the the Option offense?

Dear Fellow Husker Fans,
We are closing ever so closer to game 2 of the Bo Pelini era. As we inch ever so closer I was reading back on some of the discussions and one thing that caught my eye was that many of you put in personal moments of watching games with your families as the best memory you had of Husker football. Thinking on that I will give my input. After that, I will deliver on a treat promised in my first post, my personal top 15 players in Nebraska history. After that, who… Continue
