Live from BugahaWest: Congrats Kent Pavelka on HoF induction

Dear Fellow Husker Fans,

As we sift our way through the reports and cross our fingers for our commits a little known line came out of Lincoln this past week. Famed Nebraska broadcaster Kent Pavelka was inducted into the Nebraska Basketball Hall of Fame. Well, there is a bit on him at Huskers.com but it only talks basketball, so I want to put my 2 cents worth on his other sport, football.

Husker Wrestling Alumnus, Jason High's Mixed Martial Arts Career

University of Nebraska wrestling alumnus, Jason High, was on

the card for Saturday nights pay per view Affliction mma fights in

California. His was a nontelevised swing-fight after the

main event. He experienced his first mma loss to IFL

veteran, Jay Hieron. Jason High was paid $10,000 for his

So sad that the season is over

I am sad that the season is over but I cant wait for next year. I can only hope that Bo keeps up the good work and we can have another great season next year.

Live from BugahaWest: The Blackshirts turn Clemson purple to black and blue

Dear Fellow Husker Fans,

We have all seen or listened to the game. It was the final chapter in the book know as 2008 The First Year of the Pelini Era. This fine book had many chapters, some good and some not so good. Gator Bowl WIN!!

An impressive win by the Huskers on New Years Day 2009. Both the Huskers and Tigers were on an upswing for the season and somebody had to lose, glad it wasn't us.

Any questions about the Defense being qualified to wear the Blackshirts anymore? My God did those guys show some heart! 5 sacks were impressive, but the final sack that basically won the game was one of the biggest that I can remember.
