Cory Schlesingers 2, 4th Quarter Touchdowns to win the Orange Bowl ,and the National Championship. I played with Cory at Columbus High , so there are alot of memories there too.

That is pretty cool you played ball with Schlesinger. I kinda met him once, at a football game a while back between the Lions and old Houston team. I was wearing a Cornhusker jacket and was close to the field and I yelled his name and pointed to my jacket and he came over and shook my hand. All I know was that his hands were like bricks, I was like he is going to hurt people. Very nice guy to even come over and say hi.

I met him through my older brothers. Just retired from the Army, but have been fortunate enough to be close to home over the years so have spent quite a bit of time in CC. Live in Davenport, IA right now. Know Tom mostly from Woody's, golf and jeeping. You get back to CC for stuff often? We are going back for the 4th of July festivities and going to try to make it to a game this fall too.

Hey Tony - Are you still going to the spring game? I just saw on the news that it is SOLD OUT for the first time ever. Pretty cool. I just got signed up last week for my season tickets next fall. I'm a grad student so I got general admission seating in the student section. I'm pretty psyched!
