Spring Game to be Televised by BTN

Nebraska and the Big Ten Network have announced that the Huskers’ spring game on Saturday, April 6 will be televised live by the network. Kickoff for the contest is set for 2 p.m. CT at Memorial Stadium.

BTN2Go will also provide live coverage of the spring football game. BTN’s spring football coverage includes the Big Ten Football Report every Wednesday and Saturday nights beginning April 10.

This year marks the first time BTN will televise Nebraska’s spring game live on the network. Last year’s game was scheduled for a same-day tape-delay telecast, but the contest was canceled because of weather.

The Husker Sports Network will also carry the spring game live on many of its radio affiliates, and the contest can also be heard worldwide through Huskers.com.

Reserved tickets for the Red-White Spring Game remain on sale at Huskers.com or by calling the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office at 800-8-BIG-RED. Tickets are $10 each. Nebraska’s spring game drew at least 50,000 fans each year from 2004 to 2011, prior to last year’s cancellation.
