I attended the Spring Game this past weekend along with my wife, step daughter, brother ,niece, daughter, and grandsons. When I go to this game I go ,not to see what we may or may not look like in the fall, but to be entertained and to see certain players. I was not disappointed.
I saw Tommy Armstrong throw and run quite well,I was impressed with how he ran the few optin plays that were run. I saw some good tackling, hard hits and some great pass catching. I loved the format, with the breaks and the drills that were showcased,I enjoyed seeing the ex-huskers catching punts to see who would kick off. I was in awe when little Jack Hoffman made his run. I was and am proud to be a devout and loyal Husker.
I saw nothing that made me worry about the fall and I didn't see anything that made me think we were a juggenaut on offense. I saw what I came to see,a practice game. there were several Huskers out for this practice,so it would be unfair to judge the team bad or good. I hope that all attended with this in mind and went to be entertained.
