Overall i think the defense played pretty well, they gave up a TD when Idaho got the ball at the 12 yard line and another late in the game when we had a bunch of backups getting some game time experience. The offense on the other hand still had some problems. We had some yards against the Vandals, but continued mistakes causing turnovers and 10 penalties for 123 yards would have doomed us against a top ranked team. The offense was careless with the ball and had far too many penalties, which means they were undisciplined. Hopefully Coach Watson can work out some of these issues this week before heading to Washington. At the same time Idaho is coming off an Eight win season including a bowl win and had the majority of their team back. Nice to see Mike McNeil get some catches this week. Kinnie didn't have as good a game last week and Lavonte David was MIA this week after being a "madman" last week and in on 85% of the plays.
Thoughts?

Idaho routs UNLV 30-7
MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) Idaho scored on its first three drives and rolled to an easy 30-7 victory over UNLV Saturday night.
The Vandals (2-1) led 24-0 at the half behind quarterback Nate Enderle and Daniel Hardy, who combined for a 17-yard touchdown and set up another score with a 54-yard play. The Idaho defense did the rest, sacking Rebels quarterbacks six times and picking off a pass on the night.
The bad...sloppy play on both sides of the ball. Many mistakes...penalties, missed blocks, missed tackles, turnovers, and blown coverage. Niles Paul makes big plays, but does not play at a high level consistently. Tmart made some mistakes due to inexperience.
Summary...not sure I saw the level of improvement from game 1 to game 2 that was expected. Overall we have a good football team on both sides of the ball that will continue to improve and play together. This season compared to last season our defense may make mistakes and give up points, but our offense will score points and will give us the opportunity to win every game.
Have to give my friend Alex credit for predicting Tmart as our next Heisman trophy winner from Nebraska.
Ready or not Washington is next week and we will come out with a "W".
Go Big RED!!!
