If we don't over look them, and play up to the top of our ability... I think we'll shut them out. 49-0

If we get jobbed by the refs, or make a couple of mistakes. 49-10

Amazing what one year can do. Last year they hung 65 on us and we have so much faith in our coaching staff that now we're talking shutouts!!! Lots of good posts in here! We give up too many stupid plays and third downs to think shutout. Thank God we have an offense that put points on the board. I'd love nothing more than for Pelini to bring it all, but he won't. I'm so disappointed that I saw this week where he said "there's definitely a rivalry there." What the hell? Has the Nebraska-Colorado game really ever meant anything? C'mon. I hope those are just words to fire up the boyz. This game isn't going to be close. 47-24. GBR.

By the way, we are 37-9-1 against the Chips since the Devaney era. Average margin of victory being two touchdowns. Yeah, definitely a rivalry.

WOW......now we are talking shut outs......hmmmm i wouldnt even have thought about that this year....I only got to watch a few games this year since im not in huskerland and the ones i did get to watch were blowouts against the HUSKERS.....I like the fact that they are gonna get that 8-4 season and possibly a 9-4 finish.....To bad Ganz cant stick around for one more year, i think he would have cemented a great turn around next year and a North title.....

this team is good for atleast 2 big plays a game....until thats fixed the opponet is pretty much chalked up for 21 points....i like where your head is at daemon but i have to see it first

I live in Denver, and all I hear about on the radio is CU updates. Let me tell you, they aren't saying good things about their team. Everyone has pretty much already chalked this up to a loss for the Buffs. I stand by my prediction. If I'm wrong I'll buy anyone who wants one a drink. You'll have to come to the Colorado game in Boulder next year to get it though.

Colorado will score one touchdown and one field goal minimum. The nationally televised game will bring Ganz, Suh, Helu, Swift and Pelini into the limelight. Husker nation: Be prepared for an all out Husker Shootout. Huskers will have 700 total offensive yards, Ganz will have 130 rushing yards, Helu will have 3 touchdowns and 200 rushing yards, Suh will have 1 touchdown and 2 sacks, Swift will break another record with 4 touchdowns and a passing touchdown to Ganz, the Blackshirts will make CU bring in the third string quarterback after hurting the top 2 and Pelini will say "I think we improved a little but we have a Bowl game to prepare for." Husker Nation Fans will be so excited and the Buffs will be left in the Buff as the Huskers leave the final score:

NU 56 (if Pelini Allows it= 70)
CU 7 (maybe 14)

CU is still not Bowl eligible but they can be if they can upset the Huskers in Lincoln. NOT HAPPENING!!

CU has to many injuries, and very suspect in skill positions. Coach Hawkins will pull out all the stops and try to steal a win no doubt. Their defense will be on the field to much to stay with the Huskers for four quarters.

I am gonna say 56-14 because I believe we will somehow manage to give up a couple big plays but other then that it should be Big Red all the way

I am with you Daemon, as long as we put the rush on which ever QB they have in the game at the time, and if we can keep Scotty McKnight from touching the football. He is by far their best player, and with the identity crisis they have at QB right now I think we can put up a GOOSE EGG on them. After the break down they had against Missouri the team kind of sat down and decided to wait for next year.
The last few years when the Husker game rolled around my friends here in Colorado that are Buff fans had a lot to say. I am having trouble finding them now. They know the team is gone. All you have to do is listen to Dan Hawkens radio show and you can hear how even he has no faith in their spirit. Maybe this will bring an end to their crap about wanting a rivalry with us.

It's time to put CU in their place,
