I'll get one right this season. NU 24 KU 13. We see both QBs. Helu has a solid if not stellar game. Receivers remain quiet. Reesing will have a hard time (duh) but will get lucky once. Probably won't get this one in the windy city again this week. Thank you for ESPN 360 !!!

Somebody please tell Watson to stop running the option play. I know I sound like a broken record about this, but in the middle of the game it bounced off Helu's head and went out of bounds and we lost 6 yards. Same thing happened against Oklahoma. Then we ran it on 3rd an 12 ?!
The basic run plays, toss plays, and play action passes to the TE and Paul are working fine. Let's stick with that !!!
Yep. Their O-Line played well, plus they have a tough senior QB who is not afraid to get hit. Reminds me of Ganz. I called Helu's buck fifty when I replied to Tom. I'm getting better...
Huskers 24 Kansas 13.. Huskers will at least get 1 defensive touchdown... Special teams have been pressureing the punter and they will bet another block, just like the Baylor Game.. I hope Cody Green starts.. I didn't think that it was Cody Green fault against the sooners that he would start 1st and 15 because of the false starts. Green is our future, not Lee.. GBR!!!
I played on an option team once. We always had the RB call for the ball, but others do it differently. Helu did not expect pitch but should have caught it either way. I saw Pelini yelling at Lee. Maybe he called a bad audible. Who knows. I always get NERVOUS when Nebraska runs option because it requires perfect timing and tons of practice. It's not a play for shits and giggles. You really should be an option offense when doing it.
Either way, it was nice to see Helu break thru on a couple of nice runs because OU has a top 10 defense. Credit the line for opening up some holes. Hopefully that continues and it opens up play action pass.
I approached last week with that same pessimism. The NU defense is definitely top 10 in the nation without a doubt. If NU gets the run game going, which they started to do against the Fighting Stoops' then we don't have to worry about Lee or Green. The play action will open up. I'll give Watson some credit about trying to walk before they run. I'm still not a fan of this offense in general, but Helu runs for 150 bills this Saturday.
