Once again, Alex will be the MVP!

Landry still cant figure out our defense, and our offense puts together a decent game plan. Although we haven't
done well in games we REALLY want to win (ie. texas, A&M) I believe Bo and Company have a very strong desire
and drive to win this game, and leave the big 12 like they should, champions.

21-17 . . . We win of course . . . I can see this game coming down to special teams. Kick coverage specifically, there have been times this season when ours has been great and there have been times that it has not been great. If we give up too many yards on punt/kick returns it might be a diff story but I believe in our guys and know we can win it!
I'm with Daemon. Alex is our saving grace with 4 FG's. Cody Green has another really good performance and manages the game well. Roy Helu returns to form with 100+ yards and a TD. The defense bends, but doesn't break. It's a nail-biter that comes down to the end, but we come out on top 26-24.

I say the blackshirts pick jones off 3 times and one sets up an easy td. but we run the ball alot and keep their extremely fast offense off the field. I wouldnt mind if we ran it so much that it was another 2 and half hour game like the kansas game.
NU - 24

OU - 21

Cody Green throws a pass out of bounds leaving one second left on the clock . Alex Henry kicks a 47 yarder to win the game. Why does that sound so familiar?
Because Alex is the man! I started court proceedings to adopt his foot.
Another game that worries me, but I think that the Black Shirts can keep us in it.

If we use Rex in the wildcat we control time of possession, turn overs and the line seems confident in the wildcat and we win. NU 24 OU 17. If we don't we lose good ball handling and lose NU 16 OU 20.

Auburn a 5 1/2 point favorite over South Carolina.

Oklahoma a 6 point favorite over NU.

What does that tell us?

Total Offense - OU #12; NU #31

Total Defense - NU #5; OU #63

Head-to-head since TO left in 1997. OU 5-2.

Stoops record in Big 12 Championship games 5-1.

The emotions tied up in this game on the NU side are probably higher than at any point since the last game of 2007.

NU fans and the team likely want to win this one more than anything.....but the "opponent" is the Big 12 Conference; not OU.

I don't know that OU's emotional investment is at anywhere near this level and they are coming off of an emotional win vs. OKSU.

If DeMarco Murray cannot go that is a big blow to their team.

The Battle of Youngstown?

One team could come out flat and the other could come out jittery.

I think that it will take one quarter for things to fall into place. The first quarter could be about turnovers and other mistakes. I think that the next 3 quarters will make it one hell of a game.

In my heart I think that NU will win; but in my head I think that OU will win.
