Why is it that Nebraska always overlooks one team on their schedule. Why can't they take every team seriously? Is it Bo Pelini?
Nebraska should have had no problems with Northwestern on Saturday. Here is an article about Nebraska overlooking teams:

I am not convinced that it is Bo's fault (or at least only his), the whole coaching staff and the team needs to take responsibility as well. We made some good plays and had the defense been able to stop them in the 3rd and 4th quarter we may have been able to pull it out (but again we can't worry about the "what if's") - so it was both sides of the ball.  I was just talking with some people how we seem to step it up and play well (generally) against the "good" teams but we for some reason let the not so good teams make us look bad - it really is all in our heads.    We have to somehow correct this problem, especially at home right before we go into what is the hardest stretch of our season.

Mike - Northwestern always wins one of "those" games.  Usually they have been taking it to the Hawkeyes.

Coming into the game, the Wildcats needed to beat Rice and Purdue to get to 5 wins + beat either UNL on the road or MSU at home (11/26).

Never underestimate this team either.  Fitzgerald an excellent coach and great recruiter who knows how to get kids who nobody else wants that fit into their system.

Somebody should hire their OC.  Great game plan yesterday and playing with their #2 and #3 QBs after Persa went out.

They ALWAYS have a very good QB and receivers who will lull you to sleep.

Big surprise was their ability to run right at us.  They usually run only to set up the pass or if the QB breaks loose on a scramble.

During the past 2 weeks Bo has had Martinez under wraps so as to prevent him from making poor decisions with the ball.  That has worked; however Rex can't do it all by himself.

Yesterday he definitely showed wear from his 35+ touch game vs. MSU.

Couldn't agree more.  Especially with Northwestern taking aim at him.

I had to go to a "beer tasting" party hosted by two married Northwestern alum after the game.  They had purple Christmas lights all over their basement.
