How bout that Barney Cotton!?!

The line protected TMart (who was obviously awesome), opened holes, and most importantly, didn't commit a lot of stupid holding and false start penalties like in previous years.  Maybe he knows what he's doing.

Now as for the the Dline and the rest of the front seven......Compton was the only guy I was making some plays.  Need some big improvements and maybe some position changes up there....

  • I was not following closely enough...how many different guys were used in the O-line

    • It was supposed to have been a 7 man rotation with the Center being the only one not regularly swapped in/out. m But, nobody ever talks about it too much.  So, it's hard to confirm how many plays each O Lineman actually had.

  • Give Barney his just due!

    Go Big Barney

  • I agree, the offensive line performed well today.  Made lots of big runs with several different backs.  Protected Tater well and penalty free.  All in all, an outstanding job.

What a bunch of walk-ons, huh?  I wonder who could get that out of unrecruited players?  Must be a miracle, or could it be our coaches actually do know what they are doing?

Hey, I got as many question marks in that paragraph as wrestler.

  • Can't wait to see this offense in person on October 20th on the lakefront!
