Perhap the Shane Waston nightmare is over and Huskers football can now have a offense after the first quarter against teams that are good division one football teams. I can't believe anyone who has any kind of knowledge of football would not be extremely pleased with this firing.Way to go bo.

Eric I really think Bo looked at next year schedule and thought to himself if Waston's offensive plan works like it did in 2010 the 2011 team could lose 5 or 6 games. We will see how the offense next year works out. However as I stated I know of only one chatter on this site who would carry on about the possiblity of firing Waston. Therefore I think this was basically the only move Bo could make and one which I think will be welcome by the majority of husker fans. This was not the case after the 2002 or the 2003 season in which several assistants were fired and I think angered alot of husker fans.
Eric I think most chatters on this site have the same opinioin on waston being gone as you. I can only think of one chatter from this site who would really carry on if someone even mentioned the possiblity of Waston being fired. Even then this was a younger chatter who probably don't know to much about college football anyway. I agree with you it may be exciting to see if the Nebraska offense shows up pass the second quarter next year in the games against top division one schools.
