  • Not a lot to say. We know they're beatable. I don't think they're any more or less motivated than us. Gurley and Abdullah get their yardages. Which QB plays better?

  • The rebirth of the Huskers starts with this game.  The year has been frustrating. It is a new year and the Huskers rise from the depths of mediocrity.  GBR

  • Consensus says that a Husker win would be an upset.  I know that GA is without Murray and the team has the flu and all that.  But we are still a young team with a defense that has struggled against good competition.  Dawgs are good competition....

  • Georgia was good last year...but this year not so much.  Huskers have improved since last match-up, and are healthy.

This rematch favors the underdog.  And certainly not the Georgia Dawgs.  Advantage Huskers.

Georgia has the flu. QB Murray is out. Dawgs don't want a rematch.  Huskers have a chip on their shoulder.  Bowls tend to have upsets. This game will follow that trend.  Huskers play the Dawgs in a close game, but come out on top.  Bo Pelini will get a contract extension with the win and the blogs will light up with never ending chatter.

  • We are as close to healthy as we have been all year.  GA is not that great on D and without Murray they are average at best.  Gurley is a load and will give us problems between the 20's.  I also think, based on AA's comments, that we may  be in for a surprise on punt returns

We are one of the bigger dogs left in the bowls.  look for a shocker.

  • I'm thinking the Blackshirt pass defense (#22 nation) will matchup well with Bulldogs passing style of offense (#16 with SEC carreer leader A Murray under center) and will get pressure on Qb Hutson Mason, hopefully the big boys in the middle can slow up Rb Todd Gurley and limit his yds and the Bull dog time of possesion

Ameer is a proven commodity and will likely get his yds against a middle of the road Georgia run D (#43) but Huskers will need to use all their weapons in this game

both teams have very good kickers and that may well decide this game
