I heard this discussion on the radio today and I just chuckled...
If we beat USC and people try to tear down the goalpost I will be completely embarrassed.
We are so much bigger of a program than this game is. Tearing down goalposts are for nobody's when they beat somebody. Teams tear goalposts down when they beat us, not when we beat them.
I don't think this will ever happen and the people on Sports 590 were idiots for even bringing it up, but I just wanted to know what you guys thought.

Tearing down the posts are something overly-excitable fans do when their team have acheived more than expected in a win. In Nebraska's case, the only thing that could cause our fans to be overly excited is a U-Haul truck parked in front of Bill's office. The USC game is already history, but at this point any win is a cause for celebration.
did anyone see the CU vs OU game this year? when CU beat em and the ENTIRE statium flooded the field withing seconds and utterly demolished the stadium within seconds? i hate colorado.
